Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Zhengzhou, City exploration, Welcome dinner
Your professional tour guide will meet you at the port (airport or tratin station) of Zhengzhou, then transfer to the hotel. We will explore the city after a short relax in the hotel. A welcome dinner will be served at local restaurant.
Day 2: Shaolin Monastery, Shaolin Zen Meditation half day Session

- 09:00: Depart for Shaolin Monastery from Zhengzhou (90 km / 1.5 hours)
- 10:40: Visit the Shaolin Monastery, located at the foot of Songshan Mountain in Henan, China, is renowned as the birthplace of Shaolin Kung Fu and a significant center of Zen Buddhism. With over 1,500 years of history, it has become a symbol of spiritual and martial arts discipline. The monastery attracts visitors from around the world to witness impressive Kung Fu demonstrations, engage in meditation, and explore its rich cultural and religious heritage. As both a UNESCO World Heritage site and a living temple, Shaolin offers a unique blend of history, martial arts, and spirituality.

- 14:00: Shaolin Zen Meditation Session, including: Worship Zen ancestral court, Practice eight pieces of brocade, Kung fu instruction by monastery master.

Day 3: Shaolin Zen Meditation half day Session, Yingtian gate

Day 4: Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple, Luoyi Old Town

- 09:00: Visit the Longmen Grottoes, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring over 100,000 Buddhist statues carved into cliffs. Dating from the 5th to 9th centuries, the grottoes showcase some of the finest examples of ancient Chinese Buddhist art.

A trip to Henan’s Shaolin Temple is amazing! You get to see where Kung Fu all started and watch real monks in action. The mountain views are stunning, and the temple’s history and peaceful vibe make it a must-visit for anyone into Chinese culture.

I recently took a tour of Henan and was utterly amazed by the rich history and breathtaking landscapes. The visit to the Shaolin Temple was the ultimate highlight; witnessing the monks in action was truly inspiring. The Longmen Grottoes were another must-see, with their stunning ancient carvings that delve deep into China’s Buddhist heritage. The Yuntaishan Mountain area offered incredible views and refreshing hikes, perfect for nature lovers. Other attractions like the Zhengzhou Museum and the ancient city of Kaifeng rounded out the experience beautifully. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the heart of China
